Body

Performance

The Olympus E-PL3 comes with Micro Four Thirds lens mount. This camera has a focal length of 14 - 42 mm and 35 mm equivalent focal length of 28 - 84 mm. The aperture setting controls the amount of light that falls on the image sensor when clicking photographs. With the aperture setting ranging from f/3.5 - 5.6, you can capture detailed and sharp images irrespective of the time of day. The E-PL3 has a minimum focus range of 9.8 inch and provides 35-area multiple Auto Focus with contrast detection.

The M. Zuiko Digital lens offers an optical zoom of 3x. The E-PL3's shutter speed of 60 - 1/4000 second allows you to capture delightful images of subjects even when they are in motion. In the Bulb mode, the shutter speed further reduces to 30 minutes. The ISO setting ranging from 200 - 12800 gives this camera the ability to capture noiseless photographs even in the dark. This camera is compatible with FL-50R, FL-36R, FL-50, FL-36, FL-20, FL-14 and FL-300R external flashes.

One of the highlights of this Olympus camera is the Art Filter which consists of 6 different types of special effects which include Pop Art, Soft Focus, Grainy Film, Pin Hole, Diorama and Dramatic Tone. The Supersonic Wave Filter in the E-PL3 ensures that the image sensor remains free from dust and other particles.
